This is a translation for information; the French version prevails.
This site asks nothing of you. No form, no cookie, no tracker, no advertising. It only counts its visits, in a way that does not follow you. Here, in plain terms, is the little it keeps, and your rights.
Who is responsible
The company BOUTIQUE DES ANGES PARIS MONTMARTRE, a SARL (French private limited company), 2, rue Yvonne Le Tac, 75018 Paris, which publishes this site under the La Boutique des Anges brand. For any question: contact@boutiquedesanges.fr.
What the server keeps
Like any website, the server that hosts boutiquedesanges.fr records each visit in a technical log:
- the IP address;
- the date and time;
- the page requested, and the page you came from;
- the browser and system used.
These logs are used to run the site and protect it from attacks. They are kept for about two months, then deleted automatically. Our hosting also produces visitor statistics from them (the AWStats tool), which only we consult: they count visits and page views, and keep the list of the most active IP addresses of each month. All of it stays on our server, with our host OVH (see the legal notice). We pass it on to no one, unless required by law.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site and protecting it.
Audience measurement
To find out what helps and what gets in the way on the site, and to improve it, we count visits with a small tool of our own. It runs on our server and goes through no analytics service.
What is measured: the pages you look at, the site you come from, the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer), your browser’s language, how far you scroll down the page, and your clicks on the important links (the online catalogue, directions, the telephone number, the email address). A technical incident on the page may also be noted.
What is never measured: your IP address (it is used for a moment to calculate the fingerprint described below, and is not kept in the measurement database), your name, your email address, what you type anywhere.
No cookie, no storage: the tool places nothing in your browser and reads nothing from it. Nothing is sent to another site: the data goes to our server only.
The Daily Visitor: to know that several pages come from the same person, the server calculates a fingerprint from your IP address and your browser, mixed with a secret code that changes every night. The previous day’s code is erased: no one, not even us, can recalculate a past fingerprint, or recognise you the next day.
How long: measurement data is kept for 25 months at most, then deleted automatically.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used in order to improve it. Since the tool places nothing on your device and is used only for our statistics, there is no banner to accept.
You can opt out, at any time:
- if your browser sends the “Global Privacy Control” signal, nothing is measured, without you having to do anything;
- otherwise, the button below stores your refusal in your browser. It is the only place where this site writes anything on your device, and only because you ask for it. Clearing the site’s data in your browser cancels this refusal.
Cookies and third-party sites
This site places no cookie in your browser: you have nothing to accept or refuse. The fonts, the images and the map come from our own server. While you read these pages, your browser contacts no other site.
Only the login page reserved for the team sets a cookie, which it needs in order to work.
Links to other sites
Some links take you elsewhere: the online catalogue (shop.boutiquedesanges.fr), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Citymapper and press articles. Once you are on those sites, their own rules apply.
Your orders are covered by the privacy policy of the online catalogue: catalogue privacy policy (in French).
Your rights
You can ask to see the data that concerns you, to have it corrected or erased, or object to its use. Write to us at contact@boutiquedesanges.fr, or by post at 2, rue Yvonne Le Tac, 75018 Paris. To find a visit in the logs, tell us the IP address used, the date and the time. Audience measurement, however, does not allow a person to be traced: the day’s fingerprint can no longer be calculated the next day, so we could not recognise you in the data. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority), at cnil.fr.
